Finally got the engineer model of RK3288, feeling nice at the first sight. Because the development board leaves interfaces only for LCD data cable, I have added a interface board to support dual LVDS output.
As LVDS requires complete reference surface with strict layout, the length error between signal traces in a pair must be less than 30mil and the length error between signal pairs must be less than 100mil. What’s more, the corners should adopt arc or obtuse angel and the impedance requires Z=100ohm±10ohm.
With a little help from Firefly team, I managed to figure out the excellent layout. Here’s the outcome. It is a 10.1 inch screen with 1200*1920 dpi.
