Hi,

I have Vsmart Q8 tvbox (3288) hardware with Android 5.1 built on basis of sources from respective firefly device , so it definitely should have similar hardware as firefly-3288. My problem is that I would like to use TV box as car-pc and boot it directly after power on, without any use of power button or remote control. Is it possible? I’ve checked similar threads for Samsung tablets and phones and they use battery animation script to pass reboot command for this purpose. But in my case TV Box does not show any animations in sleep mode, so there should be something different to change.

It is need some hardware modification.

You need hardware modification. Replace power button with this piece.

It will detect when you have energy ON and shotcut the power button. Cheers

Hmm, won’t relay switch board off if it will keep close and not release “button” for some time?
