Unable to boot with self-built Kernel

Hi,
I am unable to boot a self-built kernel image in Ubuntu. I was able to successfully flash prebuilt images of Android 7.1, Ubuntu 16.04 and the Android-Ubuntu dual boot. Right now, RK3399 has Ubuntu 16.04 only.

When trying to flash new boot.img, system doesn’t boot. I reused same ingredients as in prebuilt boot.img, just replacing kernel.img.
Find serial debug logs attached.

Any clue what I may be missing?

have you use the kernel in the gitlab?
Get the source code ːgit clone https://TeeFirefly@gitlab.com/TeeFirefly/linux-kernel.git.

cross compile tools ː git clone https://TeeFirefly@gitlab.com/TeeFirefly/prebuilts.git.

Yes, I’ve been using the gitlab kernel.

I cleaned my environment, used the CROSS_COMPILE path explicitly when issuing the ‘make’ command, and then used the ./arch/arm64/boot/Image + resource.img file, plus the RAMdisk from the prebuilt Ubuntu image. That worked for me now.
