Poor performance

I am using the rk3399-pc version of the board. So far pretty dissapointed with the performance I am getting. Cannot play video due to lag and skipped frames. Streaming from internet sites to slow as well.
I even get lag while dragging a file folder across desktop.
I purchased a PCI nvem and am running the OS from it even though I still have to boot from an SD.
I realize this is new tech and still being developed. I hope things improve. Mali drivers would be a start.

The Android support will be far better.
Video playing using mpp decoder should be fluent too.
